W. S. (“Bill”) Nicholls is President and founder of W. S. Nicholls Construction Inc. of Cambridge, ON which carries out major infrastructure projects in Canada and internationally. In addition, he is the founder and President of two private companies, one of which has ownership interests in completed infrastructure projects, Hydro Electric Facilities, while the other carries out research and development in the field of large-scale hydraulic engineering.
In 1975, Bill founded Nicholls-Radtke Ltd., an industrial construction company, which grew to 2,000 employees, $150,000,000 in annual revenue, was the largest pure industrial contractor in Canada, and carried out major projects for Toyota, Honda, GM, Ford, Cami, Chrysler as well as larger industrial and all power, cogeneration projects, before being divested in 1995.
Bill currently serves as a director on the boards of two additional companies, and on the boards of two non-profit organizations.
An avid outdoorsman, Bill also enjoys his active role as President of a private venture-capital firm which provides management consulting services, and partners with development-stage entrepreneurial ventures.
